In line with the School Uniforms (Guidelines and Allowances) Act 2026, Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí adopts a simple, affordable, and inclusive uniform policy. The school is committed to ensuring that uniform requirements are reasonable, minimise cost to families, and allow flexibility, while ensuring that uniforms are practicable and comfortable for our pupils.

Everyday Uniform:

• Navy trousers, shorts or a navy skirt
• Green polo shirt with school crest
• Navy jumper with school crest

Alternative / P.E. Uniform (optional). P.E uniform may be worn daily if family prefer:

• School P.E. jersey or green polo shirt
• School sports half zip
• Navy shorts

Key Principles:

• Families may purchase items from a supplier of their choice, provided colours match the above requirements.
• Branded items are kept to a minimum and are optional where a suitable alternative exists.
• The school will ensure that no pupil is disadvantaged due to inability to afford uniform.
