Ag Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí, soláthraíonn muid ard-chaighdeán tumoideachas trí mheán na Gaeilge. Tá muid tiomanta i dtreo timpeallacht chothaithe ina bhfuil meas ar chearta gach duine á cosaint. Tá sé mar aidhm againn ár ndaltaí a spreagadh agus dúshlán a chur rompu chun barr feabhais s’acu féin a bhaint amach, ag cruthú timpeallacht inár féidir le cách sult a bhaint as foghlaim fad-saoil, ag caomhnú fás leanúnach le béim ar fhreagracht. Ag ceiliúradh agus ag altú buanna aonair agus ár n-Oidhreacht chultúrtha, cumhachtaímid ár ndaltaí, bunaithe ar mhana na bhFiann “Neart inár lámhaibh, fírinne inár dteangaibh agus glaine inár gcroíthe.”

Tugaimid tosaíocht do shláinte mhorálta, mheabhrach, agus fhisiciúil ár ndaltaí, ag aithint agus ag cothú a gcumas agus a bpearsantachtaí aonair, cothaithe ag an phobal, le cur leis an phobal. Trí smacht agus caidrimh dhearfacha, cothaímid spiorad comhoibrithe agus comh-mheas.

Cinntíonn ár dtiomantas d’fhorbairt oideachasúil, modhanna teagaisc agus foghlama éifeachtacha, ina measc éispéiris foghlama lasmuigh a nascann daltaí leis an dúlra. Déanaimid ár ndícheall pobal láidir a thógáil, tríd tiomantas ball foirne agus freagracht tuismitheora, ina mothaíonn gach ball a luach, le saoirse chun paisean agus scil a fhiosrú agus a fhorbairt, leis an mhuinín agus athléimneacht atá de dhíth le bheith rathúil agus go n-éireoidh leo a mbealach féin a aimsiú.

At Gaelscoil an tSeanchaí, we provide our students with high-quality immersive education through the medium of Irish. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where everyone’s rights are respected and upheld. We aim to inspire and challenge our students to achieve their fullest potential, creating an atmosphere for all to enjoy opportunities for life-long learning, promoting continuous growth with an emphasis on responsibility. Appreciating and celebrating individual strengths as well as our cultural heritage, we empower our students, grounded in the Fianna’s tenants of “Glaine ár gcroí, neart ár ngéag agus beart de réir ár mbriathair “(Strength in our hands, truth in our words and purity in our hearts).

We prioritise the moral, mental, and physical health of our students, recognising and nurturing their individual abilities and unique personalities, fostered by the community, to contribute to the community. Through discipline and positive relationships, we cultivate a spirit of co-operation and mutual respect.

Our commitment to pedagogical development aspires towards effective teaching and learning methods, including outdoor learning experiences that connect students with nature. Through parental responsibility and staff commitment we strive to build a strong community where every member feels valued and has the freedom to explore and develop their own passion and skill, equipped with the resilience to succeed and achieve, to find their own path in life.
